History of Northland Faith Church

On September 17, 2008, Pastor Bev began a Wednesday night bible teaching at Lochlin Community Centre, in Lochlin Ontario. Sunday services began later the same year, November 23rd, at the same location. On April 17, 2009, the church became incorporated with Corporations Canada under the name Northland Faith Church. It received status as a non-profit charity from the Charities Directorate of Revenue Canada August 14, 2009. Rev. Adrian Whitfield, Rev. Jon Burman, and Colin Hunter were appointed as directors. (Rev. Earl Inman has since been appointed and received to serve on the church board, effective January 25, 2019. He replaced Rev. Jon Burman, who passed on January 17, 2019).

Northland Faith Church continued to meet for fellowship and worship at the Lochlin Community Centre until November 30, 2009. It moved its office and church services to 235 Highland Street in Haliburton. In June 2011 it then relocated for services to the Community Room, Hwy 118, north of Haliburton, renting facilities there until December 1, 2012. Northland Faith Church then relocated to, and rented facilities at, 50 York Street, Haliburton. In November 2014, Northland Faith Church moved its office and worship services to Harburn Holdings, located at 13321 Hwy 118, Haliburton; its current location.
